In April 2023, Guangya High School International Program collaborated with its sister school, Balwyn High School in Australia, for a three-day youth forum. The event emphasized the importance of the United Nations' sustainable development goals and provided students with valuable skills in public speaking and presenting.
During the forum, students from both schools had the opportunity to exchange ideas with peers from diverse countries and backgrounds. They gained valuable insights into teamwork and problem-solving through research and discussion on economic inequality in Guangzhou.
The forum also helped students develop their communication skills and gain confidence in public speaking. They learned how to work as responsible global citizens and contribute to solving local and global issues. As a result, the forum was a resounding success, and both schools eagerly anticipate continuing their collaboration in the future.
